Tennis is a sport that can be played by virtually anyone, young or old. It also has incredible physical benefits. Playing regularly will increase your overall aerobic fitness, upper and lower body strength, and even expedite weight loss. For kids, it helps develop motor control and coordination while promoting life-long values such as hard work, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Plus, it’s fun!

Summer 2018 Tennis Programs

Tennis 101

This awesome beginners class is instructed by Tennis Pro Pat Pochop. It is a great class for those wanting to learn the game. Participants can be male or female and must be age 18+. Classes are on Mondays, July 9, 16, and 23 from 10:30a-11:30a. The class is $53.

Cardio Tennis Classes

Cardio Tennis is for all levels and tennis abilities. Whether you are new to tennis or play at a very high level, you will get an amazing workout, make new friends, improve your play, and simply enjoy the sport of tennis. Classes are Monday & Wednesday at 9:30a and requires a of 3.0 or above. Any level may participate on Tuesdays at 12n.  All classes are $5 per class for members. Guests are welcome to participate for $10 per class. Simply stop in at the Tennis house to pay before class begins, no registration required.

June 4–August 3, 2018

Summer 2018 Youth Tennis has a lot to offer! There are eight one-week sessions available meeting Monday—Thursday. Classes are offered in the morning and afternoon and include Mommy & Me (ages 3–5), 6–8 year-olds, 9–10 year-olds, and 11+. The Riviera Youth Tennis program is open to members and guests 3–17 years of age. Instruction includes everything from grips, stroke, and scoring to match play. All classes are 45 minutes or 1 hour long depending on age level. Racquets are available to borrow.

June 4–August 3, 2018

The Junior Tennis Team is open to youth that can hold a rally and keep score. Players will
meet daily Monday through Thursday with match play on Fridays. All practices are 2 hours
long. Racquets are available to borrow.

June 4–August 3, 2018

The Riviera Adult Tennis program is open to adult members and guests, 18+ years of age.
All classes are 1 hour & 30 minutes long. Players may select from eight one-week sessions
meeting Monday & Wednesday, Tuesday & Thursday, or Saturday.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL classes require a minimum of four students enrolled to take place.
