Dawn DeBellis

My husband, John, brought to my attention that there was an opening on the BOD of the Rivi, and he said, “they could use someone with your experience and talents, I think you’d be good at it!” Of course, he’s biased. 🙂

However, after giving it some thought, I do think I have great event marketing and creative experience and skills that would be of great benefit to the Rivi. And, I think it would be a lot fun. We have been members of the Rivi for about three years, and our family has had a ball. It’s such a great family place. We have an eight-year-old son, and he loves our summers at the pool, and learned to swim there. We are excited about the improvements to the pool coming next summer!

For more than 25 years, I worked at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and INDYCAR. I established the creative department and was Director of Creative Services. I was in charge of logo and event campaign creative development, the official programs and publications, and track decor and directional signage. I was on the Indy 500 100th Running and Victory Celebration committees.

Currently, I am the Graphic Production Manager at ADESA/KAR Auction Services. I’m on the creative team and am responsible for managing more than 80 projects a week, working with the design and digital teams and print production.

I have a vast experience in event marketing, fan experience, promotion and creative development that can help take the Rivi to the next level as a family and community destination. And, have some fun along the way!

Jessica Bischoff

Hello, my name is Jessica Bischoff and I am a candidate for Rivi Board of Directors. I have lived in the Butler Tarkington neighborhood since 2014 and joined the Rivi as quick as I could in 2015. Since then my family and I have enjoyed many of the social events and fitness opportunities at the Rivi. I am an avid triathlete and former Spin instructor at the YMCA. I’m excited to be a part of the Mini-marathon training group this Spring and the 1st ever Rivi Cycling team! My kids have been summer campers and on the swim teams. I’m a Class of 2000 graduate of Purdue University with a B.S in Business Family and Consumer Sciences. I am also a licensed real estate agent with RE/MAX at the Crossing. I attend North United Methodist Church and also volunteer for a couple other organizations around the city. I believe the best way to feel at home somewhere is to get involved. My favorite part about Rivi life is that, from Thursday night dinners, to pickleball, to Summer Outdoor Movie nights, there really is something for every age group here.  It’s been exciting to see the improvements to the club the last couple of years. And kudos to the Rivi leadership for preserving the history and keeping the nostalgia alive. I am committed to help keep the Rivi a relevant part of the community for years to come.

Jacqueline Burkholder

Jacqueline and her husband Matt have been members at the Rivi since 2013.  They have two daughters Stella (7) and Milla (3) who are “Rivi Rats.”  Every year her family finds new ways to become involved with the club.  Some of their favorite activities include Rivi Bingo nights, wine dinners, sports camp, kid’s zone, enjoying the beautiful new grounds and parks, the fitness center, and spending time with friends and family at the pool.  She has recruited several families to become members and participate in club events.

Jacqueline has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Eastern Illinois University.  She has ten years of experience working in sales, management, advertising, and marketing prior to becoming a domestic engineer.  She is enthusiastic about the future of the Riviera Club and will use her problem solving and communication skills to work with the club to continue to increase our exposure throughout Mid-town.

Her priority is to ensure there are a variety of activities that appeal to members of all ages, to keep the club a safe place for families and individuals to make memories, share meals, and be active for years to come.

Jonathan Skilling

Hello. My name is Jonathan (Jon) Skilling. My family and I have lived in the Meridian-Kessler area for three years and we are entering our third year as Rivi members. My wife, Tiffany, and I, have two children. Lola (8) and Hudson (5) who love all aspects of Rivi life. We are frequent members in the summer and our kids are always excited to see which neighborhood friends are swimming. Hudson is a regular at Saturday Karate, and you can usually find me in the fitness center during this time. I am working to become more regular with my swimming in the mornings and have taken lessons with Sandy!

I am a graduate of Indiana State University with a BS in Sports Management, where I focused on outdoor recreation and facility management. During that time, I studied at Edge Hill University in England to further my Facility Management degree. Upon graduation, I moved to Colorado to help manage the guiding company, Wilderness Journeys. We focused on custom customer experiences in many areas, such as white water rafting, 4×4 tours, and guided tours to Durango and Silverton on the narrow gauge railroad and Million dollar highway. After eight months in Colorado, I took a position with The New York Road Runners in New York City where I timed 80+ running events throughout the year. I was also responsible for the execution of the large-scale and highly detailed logistics and transportation plans throughout the five boroughs. Events included the NYC Marathon, NYC half Marathon, Men’s Olympic Marathon Trials, and other distance events.

Since that time, I have moved into the technology sector. I have spent time at Apple Inc. and for the last seven years, worked at Allison Transmission. At Allison, I have managed Global IT Operations and now lead a Connected Vehicle program, where I am responsible for business and product development for our digital ecosystem.

The Rivi is very important to my family and I would like the opportunity to further engage in our community.  My background in sporting and business development would be an asset to this already rich establishment. I would feel honored to have the experience to be a contributing member of the board and to further drive the mission and values of The Riviera Club.

Thank you for your consideration!
