Enrollment
Enrollment is on a first-come first-served basis. Early bird member discount applies on all registrations and payments received prior to April 30. After April 30, registration will be accepted provided space in selected camps is still available.  The camp fee will increase by $10 per child. Registration will close one week prior to the start of each camp and space availability cannot be guaranteed.

A full refund will be issued for cancellations prior to May 15. After May 15, any refund issued will have a $25/session administrative fee deducted. No refunds issued for cancellations within (7) days of start of camp.

The Riviera Club reserves the right to modify or cancel camp dates, times and curriculum. A minimum of 6 participants is required to conduct camps.

Extended Care
Early and after care are available by reservation for one hour before and one hour after camp for $10 per child per hour or $40 weekly.  Reserve extended care at time of registration.

Camp Extras
In addition to daily swimming and camp games, every camper may select camp extras in which they will participate each week.  Camp extras are held in a small group setting and are instructed by the camp staff.  This is a great way for campers to explore new interests or spend time with individual favorites. Some camp extras include long-time favorites such as... Bead Projects/Bracelets, Chess, Ping Pong, Diving, etc.

Member Discounts
Several discounts will be offered to our Riviera Club families at the time of initial registration. The Riviera Club provides an immediate discount for early registration, a discount for multiple children from the same family and a discount for signing up for multiple camp sessions per child. Discounts do not apply to guests,  tennis elective, or early/after care. Early bird discounts do not apply to EFT payments.
Early Bird Discount: Special pricing is available for members that register and prepay in full(cash, check, charge or house account) for summer camps through April 30, 2009.
Multiple Session Discount: Member families will receive a 10% discount off at the time of initial registration and payment of 5 camp sessions per child. A discount of 20% off will be applied at the time of initial registration and payment of 9 or more camp sessions per child.
Multiple Sibling Discount: The Rivi provides a member discount for the third, fourth, etc. child from the same immediate family registered for day camps. The discount is $10 per child per camp session for the third, fourth etc. child.

Payment
There are multiple ways to pay for Rivi Summer Camps; payment in full at
time of registration (cash/check, VISA/MASTERCARD) OR the Rivi’s EFT Payment Plan OR Rivi House Account. EFT or House Account forms are available at the front desks or the office. EFT payments will be automatically charged to your bank or credit card account for three months, June, July, August. If you enroll after June 1, payments will be divided between July
and August. All payments will be deducted on the 1st of each month.

Pre - School Camps

Eleven weeks of summer fun await. A traditional day camp experience dedicated to hands on fun activities such as art, swimming, games, sports exploration and creative paly in weekly theme. Children should be at least 3 years old at the time of attendance and toilet trained.

G.O.L.D. Camp

Growth. Opportunity. Leadership. Development. This camp is a special 2-WEEK course for older campers/jr. counselors in training. First week campers will learn Jr. Lifegaurding and Safe Sitter® training. The second week will build on the G.O.L.D. principles. Must attend both weeks.

Rivi Survivor Camp

Don’t miss this camp! Unique opportunities including challenges, team building, leadership and plenty of outdoor fun and adventure including an overnight. Ages 6 & over •7/27-31, 9am-5pm

Canoe Camp

Explore outdoor education, learn basic canoeing skills and small craft safety with activities on site, at Eagle Creek and the White River.  Traditional camp activities round out the day. 

Robot 2010 Camp

NEW! Robots Camp Build your own working robot to take home and keep! Explore the “FUN”damentals of robotics as you construct simple circuits, experiment with simple machines, and more!

Mosaics and More

Many great craft activities pack this full day camp. Murals, mosaics and making memories fill your week. Different projects each week.

Pottery Camp

Kids will create wonderful works of art on the potters wheel and by hand. Projects vary.
Castles, dinosaurs, plates, mugs, bowls are only a few examples of creations made at camp.

Art Camps

Campers will be introduced to a variety of fine arts mediums. Traditional camp activities will round out the day.

Cooking Camp

Hands on experience for kids in the kitchen. Explore different aspects of the culinary arts each day such as cooking techniques, pastries, appetizers and more. Traditional camp activities round out the day.

Spy Academy Camp

Campers will uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis; figure out the science of forensics, and master the spy game in this FUN hands-on camp.

Discover Drama Camp - Canceled

Discover Drama Children will learn to sing, dance and act from trained instructors. Plus they will present a preformance at the end of the week. Taught by instructors from Jr. Civic.

Splash Camps

Splash Camps These camps are for water lovers. Week long aquatic activities: diving, snorkeling, canoeing, swim lessons and water games. Traditional camp activities round out the day.

Recreation Camps

Recreation Camps From sports to crafts and outdoor education, these day camps offer a day full of traditional camp activities in an outdoor environment.

Golf Camp

Golf Camp Learn skills of a life long game. Rules of the game, clubs, strokes, putting, tips and techniques.

Cheerleading Camp

Basic cheerleading movements, chants and cheers will be taught along with basic tumbling.

Volleyball Camp

Bump, set, pass, dig and dive your way to improving your volleyball game. Focusing on fun & fundamentals. Please bring knee pads & a water bottle. Coaches: Gail Lowry and Mary Jo Wright

Gymnastics Camp

Explore balance, movement and basic tumbling with camp counselors and instructor

Kickball Camp

Kickball skills and strategies with fun and games. Traditional camp activities round out the day. Of course there will be swimming too.

Soccer Camp - Canceled

Soccer Dribbling, passing, kicking and more. Skilled instructors keep campers busy with useful techniques.

Hogwarts Haven Camp

Join in a Quidditch match, but don’t be late to potions class. A week of magical fun at Hogwarts.

G.O.L.D. Jr. Camp

Growth. Opportunity. Leadership. Development. GOLD Jr. counselors develop their leadership as
they put to use skills learned in GOLD course. 2-week G.O.L.D camp required. 

General Information

• For full day camps and AM preschool camps, drop off is from  9am to 9:15am Please be prompt. Afternoon preschool camps, drop off is 1:15pm—1:30pm. Pickup is at 5pm. Any child picked up after 5:15pm may be charged the extended care fee of $10.00 per child.
• All summer full day camp participants should bring a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle each day.  No microwave lunches. Campers should bring bathing suit, towel, sun screen and a water bottle each day. 
• Label all items and make sure campers are dressed appropriately for the weather.  No umbrellas please.
• All campers must be signed in and signed out daily.
• Only a family member can sign the child out unless the camp director has received a note by the parent designating the individual. Identification will be required.
• Discounts can only be applied during the initial registration for all sessions and campers. Early Bird discount does not apply to EFT
• Completed medical and emergency forms, medical authorization must be turned in before the first day of camp. Medical forms and information packets are available online.
• If a child will be dropped off after 9:15 a.m. or for any reason needs to be picked up at a different time, written notification must be received.
