The fitness programs at the Riviera Club are a collaboration of a wide variety of independent fitness professionals. Classes are open to members as well as the general public. Everyone is encouraged to join in, so your first class is always free.

ProgramsRivi offers a variety of fitness classes, activities and seminars and for our members and the general public. All of our programs are geared for beginners as well as experienced exercisers. Don't be shy, join the fun!
Basic Training is a great way to whip yourself into shape or put a little spice into your workout! You must sign up for the full session, 2 classes/week. This class is priced separately and includes class pass in the price.
A no-nonsense fitness program that mixes resistance and cardio training. Booty Camp uses a circuit training format, with frequent changing of each exercise. This unique mix can be adjusted to your fitness level.
Take your workout outside and to the next level. This unique series of classes moves you outside in the fresh air for a totally different kind of workout.
Cardio Circuit 50+
Exercise class that incorporates easy cardio steps with muscular strength using the weight, band and small ball tools. After warm-up the class does 3 min. of cardio followed by a tool (weights, bands, small balls), another 3 minutes cardio segment followed by a different tool. We will repeat the cardio tool segment for 30-35 minutes of cardio/muscular strength. We will then move to the mat to do 10-15 minutes of core exercises. Class will end with a 10-15 minute cool-down.

Piloxing is a hour of cardio endurance that fuses Boxing, Pilates Dance. Allow yourself to transform into a tough boxer, graceful ballerina, and a hip street dancer.
Indoor Rowing Race Training
Need an outlet for your inner competitor? Train for the Indy Indoor Rowing Championships, January 29. Concept2 Indoor Rowers are available for all to use, both in the weight room or the studio. Row for health or try racing. Individual coaching is also available.
A fun workout on rowing machines which delivers a balanced series of isometric & traditional movements that strengthen your whole body. A great cardio and strength workout geared for any age, any fitness level. Tuesday's Rowbics class will be geared to develop speed for potential indoor racing.
Fitness Self Defense
Combine fitness and martial arts to help build strength and confidence. A variety of basic and advanced self defense techniques will be practiced in each class.
Circuit Training class where you work at your own pace and fitness level. Emphasis on balance, total body muscular strength, flexibility and core strengthening. Floor work & light cardio will be included.
Total body work out that focuses on balance, muscular strength of both upper and lower body, range of motion and flexibility. Very little cardio endurance involved.
This class combines the Pilates principles of core strength with total body toning, conditioning and balance. We incorporate hand weights, exercise balls and tubing.
